No one gets left out when the Lifestyle® 38 IV comes to play.
The new VS-2 video enhancer simplifies the integration and use of
multiple video sources (even those with HDMI). It enables both audio
and video switching at the touch of a button, while automatically
providing the highest video quality your TV can accept, from any
attached video source (like VCR, PVR, cable/satellite box, or other
video devices.) The Lifestyle® 38 IV also plays well with a
vast majority of TV's, including those with HDMI.

playlists, no computer. All of this technology resides in one elegant
media center, featuring an integrated progressive scan DVD player and

Lifestyle® DVD systems are equipped with Bose® link to
bring pristine sound to as many as 14 additional rooms, even outdoors.
This sound system has more tentacles than a Pirates of the Caribbean
character. But in a good way. With Bose® link technology, you
can have independent volume control in each room, as well as access to
two different audio streams from the same Lifestyle® system.
This technology can also be enabled without any room-to-room wiring
with the purchase of the Bose® link AL8 homewide wireless audio
link.
Small
Speakers, Big Performance
Direct/Reflecting® cube speaker arrays stand just over 6 inches
high, but provide thrilling, enveloping sound for everything you listen
to or watch. A horizontal center channel speaker locks dialogue on
screen and provides an aesthetic match for flat-panel televisions.
These small speakers work in concert with the proprietary
Acoustimass® module — now 30 percent smaller than the
previous model — to fill your room with lifelike surround
sound. The Acousticmass® module produces resonant lows that add
impact to action sequences and depth to musical selections. Just place
it in a corner or behind furniture, and all the sound seems to come
from the center channel and cube speaker arrays.
