The
LT52144 Features : |
Triple-Threat
Processing
Mitsubishi's 52-inch LT52144 comes equipped with three advanced video
processing technologies. First, Plush1080p. HDTVs can display any video
signal. For a 1080p HDTV, even the high quality 720p and 1080i signals
have to be reformatted for display in 1080p resolution. Mitsubishi
developed Plush1080p technology to do this scaling precisely, with
minimal side effects and with previously unachievable detail and
clarity. Second, Tru1080p processing. Keep your signal the way it was
meant to be seen. Mitsubishi's Tru1080p processing maintains 1080p
input signals as 1080p from beginning to end without any conversion.
Finally, SharpEdge is the latest Mitsubishi edge-definition signal
processing system that enhances horizontal and vertical edges for
stunning picture precision. SharpEdge senses the vertical image
boundary and amplifies it while minimizing distortion. The end result
is crisp, sharp edges.
You
Can't Have Too Many HDMI Connections
Bringing you the best in connectivity, Mitsubishi's LT52144 features
four HDMI v1.3 connections, three rear and one side. HDMI
(High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is the only interface in
consumer electronics that can carry both uncompressed high definition
video and uncompressed multichannel audio. Your incoming source media
content comes in a variety formats; and with that in mind, HDMI systems
automatically configure to display that content in the most effective
format. Since HDMI carries all video and audio information on a single
cable, there is only one cable to plug into any HDMI-enabled source and
display device. No more complicated cable set-up when installing your
home theater system, and no more ugly cable mess behind your
components. HDMI supports standard, enhanced, or high definition video,
plus multichannel digital audio on this single cable. Also, HDMI is
fully backward-compatible with the older DVI connection.
Mitsubishi
Colors Your Video World
Bristling with color-enhancing technologies, the LT52144 will have you
seeing colors like never before. As the new standard in high definition
color, the x.v.Color Wide Color Palette enables up to 80% more colors
than standard HDTV for breathtaking realism and vivid, natural colors.
Mitsubishi Full Spectrum Color results in 25% more colors than ordinary
LCD panels. Reds and yellows become brighter and more vivid, and there
are more available shades of green, cyan, and blue. To achieve this,
Mitsubishi uses a wider range of phosphors in its backlight system for
a richer, fuller spectrum of colors. Because of this added color range,
Mitsubishi recalibrated its color and brightness settings. The
resulting picture quality adds realism to yellow sunlight, blue skies,
and crimson sunsets. Mitsubishi has a deep interest in superb color
performance. Deep Color creates smooth transitions between different
shades eliminating color bands and complementing x.v.Color's wider
color pallet. Enabled by HDMI v1.3, Deep Color goes beyond previous
8-bit HDTV. PerfectColor is an exclusive Mitsubishi technology that
gives you the ability to adjust the intensity of six separate colors
independently of each other and separately for every input.
PerfectColor is a full color matrix, much more powerful than a
conventional color intensity control with red versus green color
balance. Another exclusive Mitsubishi feature, PerfecTint gives you the
ability to adjust the tint of six separate colors independently of each
other and separately for every input.
And
Color's Not The Only Thing Mitsubishi's Good At
Analyzing 135 sectors of the picture in real time, Mitsubishi's
DeepField Imager constantly adjusts brightness and contrast for optimum
settings in each of the sectors. It can even optimize complex scenes
containing both dark and bright areas. DeepField determines the optimum
blend of contrast and brightness settings within the picture using
advanced Mitsubishi algorithms. Based on picture analysis, it
dynamically adjusts for areas that are too high or low in contrast
and/or too dark or bright, displaying the best balanced picture in
every scene. Video displays, like TVs, are light hold devices; and all
light hold devices exhibit some degree of motion blurring in fast video
moving images. Smooth120Hz is what Mitsubishi calls its 120 Hz LCD
panel frame refresh rate. This higher refresh rate produces more fluid,
natural, and smoother fast moving images, free from blur. Color 4D
Video Noise Reduction adds an extra dimension to picture performance.
Advanced algorithms filter video noise more efficiently yielding
cleaner, crisper images. And all this incredible picture quality is
wrapped up in Mitsubishi's UltraThin Frame design that gives you more
screen in less space than ever before. As far as bezel size is
concerned, less is definitely more.
