Maytag has made everyone's life a little easier with the MFI2568A
refrigerator. You don't have to be facing a hip replacement to see the
benefit of not having to hunker down on all fours to reach the
back-back of the bottom shelf. With the french-door-style refrigerator
occupying both sides of the top compartment, everything is within
reach, without the loss of dignity that comes with stooping. The
bottom-mounted freezer features ingenious individual drawers within its
main drawer, and they're all just as easy to access as the
refrigerator. Like a hawk, you just survey your dinner from above, then
swoop down and scoop it up. Hopefully, you'll cook your meal and

The Maytag MFI2568A is the first french-door-style refrigerator to
feature a filtered water and ice dispenser on the door. Hard to believe
that an idea this good wasn't thunk up way, way back in the nineties,
but there it is. At the heart of this filtration system, a PuriClean
Water Filter is hard at work, toiling away for up to a year or 750
gallons of water between changes. When the time does come to give the
old filter its pink slip, it will go without a fuss, thanks to the
system's convenient retractable design. And, with all the important
electronic controls right there at your fingertips, this dispenser
doubles as the cockpit for your complete refrigeration needs.

at Thanksgiving, thanks to the Maytag MFI2568A refrigerator. With 25
