The Miele G2470SCSF in stainless steel is not one to follow crowds.
It's a true trendsetter. Where most dishwashers look basically the

G2470SCSF ventures away from the standard by hiding the controls on top
of the door panel and leaving the front unadorned. With the integrated
design, the G2470SCSF comes with a matching bar handle that doubles as

Say
what?
Don't worry. This dishwasher isn't just an expensive mind-puzzle, or a
glorified game of hide and seek. The controls are not hard to find,
they're just normally out of sight. The control panel sits on top of
the door, so it is easy to access with the door partially open, but out
of sight while the dishwasher's door is closed. The controls consist of
a few buttons, indicator lights, and a time remaining screen. This
makes it easy to navigate through the 6 different cycles and the
options to get the best settings for your load of dishes.
Rack
'em up
OK, so it's not a professional pool player, but the G2470SCSF can rack
'em up pretty well, if by them, you mean your dishes. For example, its
top rack is deep (to hold bigger dishes) and height adjustable (to hold
even bigger dishes). But, it also features a coffee bar, a removable
spike insert, and two single-section cup racks. The lower basket is
just as innovative. It is designed with foldable spike inserts to
either accommodate pots and pans or plates. With plates, you can use
Miele's exclusive PlateGuard Plus, which cradles plates at 4 separate
points for added stability. You can also make use of the removable
bottle holder insert as well as the StemGuard, to protect your fine
glassware, or to hang cups with handles. Notice no mention of the
silverware basket. That's because in Miele's innovative design, the
silverware drawer isn't on the bottom rack, it's actually above the top
drawer. This is easier to load, and is also removable. Since they
include a spare rack, you can even unload your rack straight to the
silverware drawer, and simply replace it with another. This innovation
is one that many people love, and is one of the truly endearing
features on the G2470SCSF. Aside from the reasons mentioned above, this
is also a great design because it leaves more room for your other
dishes, particularly the big dishes that usually occupy the lower rack.
This dishwasher has a capacity for 14 place-settings and can
accommodate plates up to 12.25 inches wide. So, while the G2470SCSF has
never touched a cue in its life, it's sure to be a big winner for you.
